Your Role:

Core Editing Responsibilities

• Organize and review raw footage to select the best takes and moments, maintaining a clear vision of the final product while managing large amounts of digital media assets

• Execute technical edits including cutting footage, adjusting audio levels, color correction, adding transitions, and incorporating motion graphics to create polished final videos

• Maintain consistent pacing, style, and narrative flow throughout projects while adhering to brand guidelines and project specifications
  
  

Production Management:

• Collaborate with ATM Leaders to understand project goals, timelines, and creative direction from pre- to post-production

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and adapting to changing priorities and feedback

• Coordinate with team members including camera operators, sound engineers, and graphic designers to ensure all necessary assets are available
  
  

Technical Skills:

• Demonstrate expertise in professional editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer

• Handle various video and audio formats, codecs, and delivery specifications for different platforms (web, broadcast, social media)

• Maintain organized file systems and implement proper backup procedures for project files and media assets
  
  

Creative Input:

• Contribute creative ideas during pre-production and storyboarding phases to enhance storytelling and visual appeal

• Select appropriate music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the overall viewing experience

• Develop innovative solutions for technical or creative challenges that arise during post-production\\
  
  

What You Need:

Educational Background

• 3-5 years experience in Film, Media Production, Digital Media, Communications, or related field

• Additional certifications in specific editing software or production techniques are valuable but not always required
  
  

Technical Experience:

• Demonstrated proficiency with industry-standard editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects - or similiar)

• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse video content including promotional videos, documentaries, social media content, or broadcast pieces

• Experience with color grading, motion graphics, and audio mixing

• Familiarity with video compression and delivery formats for various platforms
  
  

Professional Experience:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in video editing and production roles

• Track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously from concept to completion

• Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders to interpret creative briefs

• History of meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
  
  

Project Management:

• Proven ability to handle projects independently while collaborating with team members

• Experience in providing and incorporating feedback in a professional setting

• Understanding of production timelines and resource management

• Basic budgeting and resource allocation experience
