Project Objective

In this role, he or she will partner closely with technical hiring managers and business leaders to identify, attract, and hire top technical talent. He or she will be instrumental in building healthy pipeline for a variety of technology roles from project management, solutions delivery, software development, technology governance and IT support. Candidate must be able to evaluate profiles based on their technical capabilities vis-a-vis manpower requirements with speed and accuracy.
Project Description
UnionBank is seeking a proactive and results-driven Technical Recruiter on a project hire basis for 11 months. In this role, he or she will partner closely with technical hiring managers and business leaders to identify, attract, and hire top technical talent. He or she will be instrumental in building healthy pipeline for a variety of technology roles from project management, solutions delivery, software development, technology governance and IT support. Candidate must be able to evaluate profiles based on their technical capabilities vis-a-vis manpower requirements with speed and accuracy.
Project Deliverables
• Collaborate with Hiring Managers:
• Partner with technical hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs.
• Translate business and technical requirements into effective recruitment strategies.
• Candidate Sourcing & Attraction:
• Utilize diverse sourcing channels (e.g., job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals) to identify top talent.
• Develop creative recruitment campaigns and employer branding initiatives to attract candidates.
• Screening & Interviewing:
• Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess technical competencies and cultural fit.
• Coordinate and participate in interviews alongside technical teams.
• Candidate Pipeline Management:
• Maintain and update candidate information using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Provide regular status updates and detailed reports to hiring managers and stakeholders.
• Offer Management & Candidate Experience:
• Lead the negotiation process, ensuring competitive and equitable offers.
• Deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Market Insights & Compliance:
• Stay current on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in technical recruitment.
• Ensure all recruitment processes comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in technical recruiting, ideally within a financial institution or technology-driven environment but fresh graduates are open to apply.
Strong understanding of technology roles, including software development, IT operations, and digital transformation.
Demonstrated ability to source, screen, and recruit high-caliber technical professionals.
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and advanced sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience recruiting for fintech or banking technology positions.
Familiarity with current trends and challenges in the tech talent market.
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to recruitment.
