The Application Operations department within our IT group is in charge of application/platform support, application/platform maintenance, application observability and service management, as well as technical contingency planning.

As a Technical Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for proactive handling of obsolescence and vulnerabilities, implementing enhancements and permanent fixes, planning application and infrastructure patches, scheduling preventive maintenance, managing production releases and coordinating capacity management for seamless technical operations.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide resolution support for incidents and problems impacting production systems or platforms.

• Identify, analyze and report on potential risks associated with obsolete components and vulnerabilities,

• Collaborate with relevant Build and Operations teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies for identified risks.

• Coordinate maintenance (patch and preventive) activities.

• Coordinate release and capacity planning activities for applications and infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, IT or related courses.

• Experience in relational database and familiarity with network protocols (i.e. TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, etc);

• Experience in programming languages/scripting such as Java, Python, SQL, HTML/CSS, Javascript, Scripting ( Powershell/Bash), C#, .Net, VB6.

• Experienced or with relevant knowledge on Application Patching, Release Management, Test Environment Management and Application & Server Decommissioning will be an advantage.

• Experience in technical foundational skills and exposure in Cloud Ops will be preferred.

• Candidate must be willing to work in Makati or Ortigas.
