About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Short-Form Video Editor to create engaging, high-quality content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. This role requires a creative eye for storytelling, fast-paced editing, and an ability to highlight the most compelling moments from longer videos without relying on AI clipping tools .

Responsibilities

• Manually review long-form video content to identify engaging and impactful moments.

• Edit videos into dynamic, attention-grabbing short-form content optimized for social media.

• Implement engaging transitions, text overlays, sound effects, and motion graphics.

• Maintain brand consistency across all edits while adapting to different content styles.

• Ensure all videos are properly formatted, captioned, and optimized for platform algorithms.

• Collaborate with the creative team to align editing style with content goals.

• Meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and creativity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in short-form video editing with a strong portfolio.

• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention techniques.

• Ability to work without AI clipping tools—must manually identify key moments.

• Experience with adding captions, animations, and engaging visual effects.

• Knowledge of social media trends and platform-specific best practices.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with content creators, influencers, or brands in a similar capacity.

• Familiarity with color grading and sound design.

• Ability to adapt editing style to different types of content (e.g., interviews, vlogs, educational content).
