Summary of Role
Anthesis is maturing rapidly and needs a resourceful, independent person to join an emerging IT Service Management function within a growing enterprise IT team. Anthesis’ requirements have now developed to the stage where a dedicated resource is required to manage the lifecycle of 3rd party services contracted and consumed by the IT Team and wider business. This role will involve working with vendors, enterprise architects, business analysts, business stakeholders, and the wider IT Team to ensure that understand business needs, analyze and document processes, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and drive business growth.
This role will:
Manage the procurement, governance and lifecycle of external IT services
Improve value derived from external IT services through cost optimization and improved service delivery
Act as the central point of contact between the business, internal service delivery stakeholders, and third-party service providers
Key Responsibilities:
Negotiate new and recurring contracts with service providers on behalf of Anthesis
Maintain the master data for all Anthesis’ IT service partners, and their corresponding internal stakeholders
Review license usage regularly to tailor costs to consumption, and ensure IT service costs are tracked and rebilled correctly
Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and third-party service providers.
Identify, manage, and mitigate risks associated with multi-supplier environments.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Establish and monitor metrics for service providers to ensure quality and value
Ensure that duplicate or overlapping services are merged or decommissioned
Work with:
the architecture team to ensure that all new services meet the predefined requirements
the project management office to ensure that all new services are deployed to an efficient and scalable pattern, including technologies like SSO & SCIM
the Global Service Desk Lead to ensure that all services are adequately supported and documented
senior service sponsors to ensure appropriate engagement with, and value for, the business consumers of IT services
the Cyber Security Lead to ensure that service providers are reviewed regularly for security, compliance, and risk-management purposes
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
With 5+ years in a procurement role
Proficiency in ITIL (preferably ITIL 4) and familiarity with Agile and DevOps principles
Strong understanding of SIAM principles, frameworks, and methodologies
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience with contract management, SLA/OLA negotiation, and vendor management.
