Operations Director
Company Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of an FMCG trading company that is revolutionizing value retail by offeringhigh-quality essential products. With over 400 stores across the Philippines and an expanding footprint in Southeast Asia, the company is on a high-growth trajectory. To support this expansion, they are seeking an experienced Operations Director to oversee the end-to-end operations of the company.
Job Summary:
The Operations Director is responsible for leading and optimizing all operational functions, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment with the company’s goals. This role encompasses supply chain management, production, quality control, logistics, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive growth and profitability in a highly competitive FMCG market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Strategy & Management
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
Optimize end-to-end supply chain operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure seamless coordination between production, logistics, procurement, and distribution.
2. Supply Chain & Logistics Management
Oversee procurement, inventory management, and supplier relationships to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
Manage warehousing, logistics, and distribution to guarantee timely delivery and minimize waste.
Implement best practices in demand planning and forecasting.
3. Production & Quality Assurance
Ensure high-quality production processes that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor production KPIs such as efficiency, yield, and waste reduction.
Implement continuous improvement programs such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
4. Cost Control & Financial Performance
Develop and manage the operations budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Monitor operational expenses and ensure alignment with financial targets.
5. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, including health & safety and environmental standards.
Implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational disruptions.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies.
6. Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
Ensure effective workforce planning, training, and performance management.
7. Technology & Process Improvement
Drive digital transformation and automation initiatives to enhance productivity.
Identify and implement cutting-edge technologies to optimize operations.
Promote sustainability and innovation in operational processes.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or production management within an FMCG environment.
Proven track record of driving operational efficiency, cost reduction, and process optimization.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, and logistics.
Familiarity with ERP systems, data analytics, and automation technologies.

Pay: From Php300,000.00 per month
