Job Overview:

The Sales Head will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives that align with the company’s overall goals and drive revenue growth. This leadership role requires a strong focus on market insights, team management, and customer relationship development to achieve both short-term and long-term business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development : Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's business goals, market positioning, and customer needs.

  • Team Leadership & Development : Lead, inspire, and manage the sales team to meet and exceed targets. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and mentorship to enhance performance and professional growth.

  • Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification : Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, new opportunities, and potential challenges. Use these insights to refine sales approaches and tactics.

  • Customer Relationship Management : Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication, problem-solving, and personalized service.

  • Sales Forecasting & Budget Management : Oversee sales forecasting and set clear performance targets. Manage the sales budget effectively to optimize resources and drive profitability.

  • Performance Tracking & Optimization : Continuously monitor sales performance metrics, such as revenue growth, pipeline health, and conversion rates. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions when necessary.

  • Reporting & Communication : Prepare detailed sales reports, performance analyses, and forecasts. Regularly communicate results, insights, and recommendations to the executive team.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration : Collaborate with marketing, product development, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and drive cohesive strategies that support company-wide objectives.

  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, legal guidelines, and industry standards.

  • Continuous Improvement : Stay informed of industry trends, new sales methodologies, and emerging technologies. Lead initiatives to refine sales processes and enhance team performance.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling sales teams, driving revenue growth, and achieving targets.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable sales strategies.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance management tools.

  • Deep knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in sales and marketing.
