Common Accountabilities
In this job you will:
The Product Management Specialist is responsible for working with internal and external clients to elicit business requirements and document user and system requirements. This position involves collaboration with stakeholders and teams to identify and address problems and to deliver solid, successful, innovative products and solutions that support our customer’s objectives.
Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline. Knowledge of the Navitaire business and how it is related to own area.
Learn NDC and eventually provide subject matter expertise on Navitaire NDC system.
Provide ongoing assistance on Navitaire Development, Quality Assurance, Customer Support teams.
Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.
May have specialized formal education or the equivalent work experience and has the required technical and functional skills and basic knowledge of the business.
Specific Accountabilities
Perform Systems Analysis
Writes user stories, features, and product backlog items
Breaks down requirements into digestible pieces that can be pulled into a sprint
Articulate business needs and translate it into backlog items that the team can refine and develop.
Performs product validation testing of new and existing functionalities
Do team presentations on assigned requirements
Work with product owner and senior BAs to ensure alignment towards product priority.
Work with scrum team to ensure that the value of the sprint is maximized and that the sprint is releasable.
Performs product and implementation support as applicable
Assists with the creation and update of published user documentation
Assists more in requirements elicitation, research, and analysis.
Participate in agile events and lead refinement when applicable / required.
Desired Experience
Knowledge and experience in XML messages, SoapUI
Knowledge in distribution, NDC, and airline industry
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Management or similar discipline with good academic records
At least 2 years of Business Analysis, System Analysis, Development or Testing or related role
Exposure in functional requirements writing OR business/systems analysis OR business process design/consulting OR systems development OR systems testing a plus·
Good analytical, logic and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
Proven discipline to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced and multi-cultural environment·
Excellent verbal and written communication skills·
Flexible work schedule; willing to travel
Amenable to work on a 50% Hybrid setup·
Amenable to work in BGC Taguig
