About the Role
We are seeking a Payments & Compliance Integration Associate / Manager to join a team building a new E-wallet for a leading telco in the Philippines! Your role will be to drive the seamless integration of major payment networks (InstaPay, PESONet) and ensure compliance with BSP regulations and industry certifications.
This role will be critical in coordinating with external financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and product & tech teams to ensure that all payment and compliance requirements are met for the successful launch of the new E-wallet within the telco.

Key Responsibilities
Payment Network Coordination & Integration
Act as the primary liaison between InstaPay, PESONet, and other payment partners to ensure smooth integration.
Track and communicate all requirements from payment networks to Product & Tech teams.
Monitor and drive integration timelines, ensuring payment rails are ready for go-live.
Coordinate testing, certification, and compliance with payment networks to ensure seamless transactions.
Identify and mitigate risks affecting payments integration and escalate issues proactively.
Regulatory & Compliance Research (BSP, EMI License, Tech Audit)
Research and collate BSP requirements for EMI (E-Money Issuer) license and ongoing regulatory compliance.
Work closely with the telco’s compliance & legal teams to ensure all documentation and reporting are in place.
Support BSP audit preparation for E-wallet’s tech infrastructure, security, and operational setup.
Stay updated on AML (Anti-Money Laundering), fraud prevention, and data security regulatory changes affecting the E-wallet.
Certification & Security Compliance (ISO, PCI-DSS, etc.)
Research and document certification requirements for the business, including ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and other fintech standards.
Work with internal IT, security, and compliance teams to track and facilitate certification processes.
Coordinate with third-party auditors and certifying bodies to ensure the E-wallet is compliant with industry standards for secure payment handling.
Ensure that all customer data, transaction security, and risk management policies align with regulatory expectations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
4-8 years of experience in fintech, banking, or payments, with a focus on payment network integrations (InstaPay, PESONet, BancNet).
Experience working with tech & product teams on payment system integrations and testing.
Strong stakeholder management skills—can coordinate with banks, BSP, and internal teams.
Strong analytical & documentation skills to collate and summarize compliance and certification requirements effectively.
Preferred but Not Required Experience
Experience in regulatory compliance related to BSP, EMI licensing, AML, and fintech regulations.
Knowledge of security and certification frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC 2 compliance.
Experience coordinating BSP tech audits or financial compliance audits.
Familiarity with fraud detection systems, AML solutions, or risk management tools.
