The Role

Are you detail-oriented, fast-moving, and great at solving financial discrepancies ? Do you have bookkeeping experience in a high-volume transaction environment and thrive in a role where accuracy is everything ? If so, we want you on our team!

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Remote Insurance Bookkeeper , your role is to manage, track, and reconcile financial transactions with speed and accuracy.

Premium Payment & Reconciliation

  • Ensure client payments are received, processed, and correctly applied to policies.

  • Reconcile accounts daily, tracking multiple transactions and resolving discrepancies immediately.

  • Sort and analyze incoming financial data, identifying what needs to be recorded.

Problem-Solving & Communication

  • Work closely with internal teams and carriers to clarify and resolve payment-related issues.

  • Identify inconsistencies, ensuring all financial records are clean and error-free.

  • Think critically—not every transaction is straightforward, and you’ll need to sort through the details to ensure accuracy.

Technology & Organization

  • Utilize Excel and financial software to efficiently track and organize transactions.

  • Work within agency management software to maintain accurate financial records.

  • Adapt quickly to new tools and systems, ensuring seamless financial operations.

Ideal Profile

What You Bring To The Table

  • Bookkeeping experience in an insurance agency or high-volume financial environment is preferred.

  • Extreme attention to detail—you’ll be managing large amounts of financial data daily.

  • Strong problem-solving skills—you can identify and resolve discrepancies with ease.

  • Fast and efficient—you can keep up with a high transaction workload.

  • Tech-savvy—experience in financial software and Excel proficiency is a plus.

  • Experience with agency management software (or the ability to learn quickly).
