The Infrastructure and Operations Department within our IT group is in charge of managing the underlying infrastructure (back-end and user-facing) for all Bank systems and platforms. They provide infrastructure support for system and platform delivery projects up to production maintenance.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for the development of necessary code and configuration for assigned IT systems or platforms. Your role will also entail developing unit test cases and executing testing for internally developed systems and performing basic troubleshooting.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed design for modules that align with BDO’s requirements and architecture

• Develop application codes and configurations/scripts according to the agreed functional design, technical design, methodologies and standards of BDO for package deployment

• Conduct unit test, SIT, create results reports, and track defects in coordination with business and IT

• Report progress and issues in a timely manner to internal and external stakeholders

• Prepare packages, configuration files, deployment scripts and installation guides for all system or platform environments along with system and operational documentation for user guides

• Provide support to production teams when necessary

• Assist the Quality Assurance Testing team in quality delivery of systems or platforms and their compliances with the functional and technical requirements

Competencies:

• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the high-level processes and products in financial services

• Programming Languages: Sufficient knowledge to be very conversant in languages such as Java, Javascript, Springboot, ReactJS, Unix scripting, and SQL

• Programming Tools: Conversant and can apply knowledge on platforms like IDE, Configuration management, Code review, etc.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in preparing reports and collaborating with different units

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any relevant courses.

• Expert on developing and supporting Microservice Applications

• Must be a full stack developer (mainly with Java experience)

• Knowledge on AWS managed services, Google FCM, Python, Ruby is a plus

• Candidate must be willing to work in Makati or Ortigas
