Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of CloudOps engineers, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and career development opportunities.

• Foster a collaborative culture that promotes innovation, efficiency, and best practices in cloud operations.

• Coordinate team efforts to optimize cloud infrastructure and improve service delivery.

• Ensure team adherence to DevOps best practices, security protocols, and compliance requirements.

• Oversee project planning and execution to align cloud operations with business goals and technical roadmaps.

• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management regarding infrastructure improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies.

• Participate in architectural decisions, guiding teams on best practices in cloud infrastructure design and implementation.

Qualifications

• Cloud & DevOps Experience: Minimum 4 years in cloud-focused DevOps, CloudOps, or software engineering roles, preferably in AWS

• CI/CD & Automation: Strong background in implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Proficiency with Terraform is required): CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

• Kubernetes and Container Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred)

• Monitoring and Security: Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog and best practices for securing cloud environments
