T-SQL and Azure Data Factory Developer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

• Minimum of 4 years of actual experience in T-SQL development and business intelligence development.

• Proficiency in writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.

• Must have experience using Python

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS.

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI data modeling.

• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Synapse Workspace.

• Well-versed with Microsoft tools

• Strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and database optimization techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Job Description:

• Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views to support application development and data analysis.

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading using ADF, Synapse Notebooks, SSIS or other relevant tools.

• Create and maintain data models and, cubes Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Tabular and Power BI.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.

• Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve performance issues, data inconsistencies, and other database-related issues.

• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices and standards in database development and BI implementation.

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in T-SQL, BI tools, and technologies, and recommend improvements or optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members as needed.

• Work independently with minimal supervision, manage priorities effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management, both verbally and in writing.
