Job Summary
A digital content assistant is responsible for producing various forms of digital content for a company's online presence, such as blogs, social media posts, videos, podcasts, and more. They work to create engaging and informative content that promotes the company's brand, products, or services and builds a loyal online following. They may also analyze data and metrics to measure the success of their content and adjust the content accordingly.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creative Content Creation
Developing creative concepts and ideas that align with the brand's messaging, values, and personality
Creating and designing visually appealing graphics, such as banners, gifs, infographics, and social media posts
Conceptualizing and planning video projects, including scripting and storyboarding Shooting video footage and capturing audio
Editing and post-processing video footage and audio in post-production software Planning and conceptualizing podcast episodes
Recording and editing podcast audio
Designing cover art and promotional graphics
Developing a content strategy for digital platforms
Creating and editing digital content such as blog posts, social media updates, and other digital assets
Selecting and editing images to accompany written content
Creating and designing custom illustrations, logos, or icons
Designing and formatting web pages, including selecting images, formatting text, and adding visual elements
Productivity
Break down projects into individual components and set deadlines for each component
Prioritize work based on urgency and importance
Use task management software and tools to track progress and completion of work
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of work
Identify and resolve issues that may delay project completion
Stay organized and maintain a system for tracking project progress and deadlines
Collaborate with team members to effectively manage workload and resources
Provide constructive feedback to team members to improve their performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience in digital content creation or related roles
Ability to produce high-quality videos, 2D animation, and knowledge of graphic design principles using Adobe Premier, Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, etc
Ability to create various types of digital content using software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Sketch
Ability to do storyboarding and copywriting
Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for each platform, including experience with social media management tools
Ability to analyze data and metrics using tools such as Google Analytics or Excel
Understanding of branding principles and experience with brand management tools
Ability to develop and execute content strategy, including experience with content marketing tools
Understanding of target audience demographics and behavior and experience with audience research tools
Knowledge of content distribution channels, including experience with email marketing tools
Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other departments
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances
