About the Role:
The Content Creative Specialist is responsible for designing and producing high-quality visual, motion, and multimedia content that aligns with the organization's branding strategy and project requirements. This role involves expertise in visual communication, illustration, animation, motion graphics, and video production, with a strong understanding of multimedia learning principles. The Content Creative Specialist also plays an active role in proactively planning and contributing to new initiatives while ensuring all projects are delivered on time and meet creative expectations.
Responsibilities
Skill Expertise
Expertise in the respective fields of visual communication, illustration, animation/motion graphic, and video production.
Designing, creating, and implementing our branding strategy and guidelines, including the setting of style guides, brand vision, and branding value proposition.
Create conceptual ideas, layouts, mock-ups, and prototypes to illustrate designs/experiences/ ideas to content, non-content team members, and/or other stakeholders
Recommend workflows and software to increase the productivity and efficiency of the team.
Share knowledge of expertise or create training to help non-content team members and/or other stakeholders for team and individual growth
Participates in trainings or workshops that are relevant for team members and current job demands
Instructional Design Knowledge
Understanding of Multimedia Learning Principles is sufficient enough to be able to produce engaging visual and animation designs in video and static outputs
Production Management
Can independently manage at least 2 major project assignments (including hiring manpower) at your present job with minimum support from the team leader
Able to manage and train both freelancers and internal creative teams
Scope and Involvement
Work in collaboration with other content teams (Academic and Operations) and non-content team members or departments to resolve technical and/or creative issues and successfully deliver key outputs
Produce creative, informative, and compelling videos, motion graphics, illustrations, visual and multimedia artworks in accordance with the brief and pre-established style and technical guidelines of the project
Illustrate, animate, and edit assets in an engaging, compelling, and creative manner in accordance with the storyboard and pre-established creative style and guidelines of the project.
Finalize and compile all assets needed for editing. Edit footage or voice over based on the storyboard and improve pacing.
Coordinate and collaborate with other team members to resolve technical and/or creative issues as well as applying agreed revisions with the creative multimedia outputs (illustrations and video)
Adhere to the guidelines and instructions given by the Creative Team leaders and Project Managers
Meet project deadlines, milestones, and goals
Attend compulsory meetings and training
Provide regular updates to immediate supervisor
Initiative and Planning
Can assist in setting up new plans that are relevant to content division
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must-Haves:
3-4 years of experience and portfolio in producing video, multimedia, and marketing projects (experience in motion graphics and online learning projects is a plus).
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, etc.) as well as Google Apps.
Strong knowledge of visual design, visual concepts, a keen eye for layout design with kinship to modern design trends and new media, and a mastery of digital illustration.
Experience working in and leading a small team of creatives, and providing professional support and development for junior creatives
Experience in using video and editing equipment
Have a good eye for composition and are up to date with styles and trends
The confidence to try new things, and a passion for big ideas and storytelling
The ability to work collaboratively in a creative team environment;
Diligence to hit deadlines, and offer suggestions to streamline and improve team processes
Good organization and time-management skills, and has a proven history of taking initiative.
A growth mindset and a willingness to improve self as well as the team and company.
Education
Bachelor's degree in either Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Multimedia Arts, Animation or equivalent
Work arrangement
Flexitime. Attends meetings in the office or online as required
