Position purpose
As an Assistant Brand Manager at LUXASIA, you will assist the Brand/Business Manager in leading and developing marketing and sales strategies to drive brand growth and profitability. You will support the execution of both traditional and digital marketing initiatives, ensuring they align with overall brand objectives and engage key stakeholders. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help manage the full lifecycle of the brands.
Key Responsibilities
Support in Sales Strategy Development and Execution
Assist the Brand/Business Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share
Conduct market research and analyze customer needs to help identify new sales opportunities
Track sales targets and ensure alignment with the overall brand objectives
Business Planning
Contributes to the formulation of business plans ensuring alignment with company's growth objectives
Track and monitor brand sales performance across different channels
Ensures targets on product contribution is achieved
Sales Forecasting and Monitoring
Preparation and monitoring of sales forecasts
Preparation and reporting of brand monthly and YTD sales updates and analysis
Promotional and Marketing Support
Collaborate with the retail operations team to help execute promotional activities and trade activations
Provide feedback on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and trade activations, ensuring proper implementation
Works with Visual Merchandising team on launches and promotions, to ensure brand consistency and effective execution of marketing strategies in-store
Ensures proper and timely GWP ordering and allocation to stores
Collaboration with appropriate team for animation activities
Budget and Financial Oversight Support
Assist in managing brand budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with brand goals
Help monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and improved profitability
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate and maintain strong relationships with principals, LUXASIA regional partners, vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment and execution of brand strategies
Presentation during business reviews
Performs regular sales updates and marketing plans
Market and Competitor Analysis
Help conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer behavior, and the competitive landscape
Provide insights to the Brand/Business Manager to support strategic decision-making and optimize brand strategies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, retail operations, supply chain, finance and other teams, to ensure smooth execution of brand strategies
Work closely with product development teams to align product launches and promotions with market demands
Innovation and Process Improvement
Assist in driving innovation within brand management, supporting the adaptation of sales techniques and retail practices to changing market conditions
Support the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement efforts
Compliance and Standards
Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards within the brand's scope of operations
Maintain consistency in brand standards and ensure proper execution across all platforms and retail locations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
4-5 years of experience in Brand Management, Sales, or Marketing, preferably within the retail or beauty industry
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Strong capability to lead and manage a project
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate effectively across departments
